Scapescape is happening August 30 to September 2 throughout the Station North arts district in Baltimore. In addition to a stage outdoors, performances will be held at the Metro Gallery and at the Windup Space.
Acts announced so far include Adventure, Arbouretum, Celebration, Co La, Cex, Dope Body, Flock of Dimes, Holy Ghost Party, Horse Lords, Jacober, Lands & Peoples, Lo Moda, Mickey Free, Moss of Aura, Microkingdom, Other Colors, Roomrunner, Santa Dads, Secret Mountains Sri Aurobindo, Teenage Souls, Weekends, White Life, Witch Hat, Wye Oak and a lot more.

For a variety of reasons, I tend to dislike pleas for crowd-sourced help for the arts. I’m not against the method of funding all together, but its become a lazy and indulgent means in many cases.
This is not one of those cases.
